Filipino Freefarting Hippies for Palamunin Culture

As the popular internet saying goes: ‘Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups’. If there’s a large political group or collective that’s exploiting and capitalizing on its increased number and newfound influence, it’s the politicking, left-leaning Filipino Freethinkers (which should be better called Freefarters), a growing hodgepodge of misguided, left-leaning and collectivist atheists.

Just recently, this political group found a very ridiculous, disgusting way to push for its left-leaning, pro-palamunin agenda by creating an almost inaudible political noise during President Noynoy Aquino’s 2012 state of the nation address.  Some publicity-hound members of the Filipino Freefarters wearing PNoy masks posed as pregnant women outside the Batasang Pambansa Complex. Their message was very simple: they want the government to provide the basic reproductive health needs or services of the people. In other words, they want a higher level of welfare state in the Philippines, which is already bankrupt and economically weak due to big government-induced corruption, massive government spending, poor investment, and decreasing economic activities, regulations, and protectionism.

The freefarting protesters also held a banner that read: “PNoy, kung nabubuntis ka, ang RH batas na (PNoy, if you could get pregnant, RH would be a law by now).”

If I were PNoy, I’d tell these stupid parasites: “Don’t get preggy, stupid!” If you can’t afford to raise a child, then, don’t even think of having sex! It’s as simple as that. Plus, you can always buy a pack of condoms or contraceptives almost anywhere.

Yet it seems that these politically naive freefarters didn’t have a clue about the President’s SONA message. Days before PNoy’s big day I already had an idea his political message would be about his expansion of the country’s welfare state.

His message is more on government spending and more public welfare. The President said:

“Subalit hindi po tayo makukuntento rito, dahil ang hangad natin: kalusugang pangkalahatan. Nagsisimula ito, hindi sa mga pagamutan, kundi sa loob mismo ng kanya-kanya nating tahanan. Ibayong kaalaman, bakuna, at check-up ang kailangan upang mailayo tayo sa karamdaman. Dagdag pa po diyan ang pagsisikap nating iwasan ang mga sakit na puwede namang iwasan.”

In short, he wants to implement his own Yellow version of universal healthcare, and if these freefarting creatures had a clue about what this particular policy or concept means, they would understand that it covers everything the people need– from RH care to basic medical bills. In short, the President, through his asungots or lackeys in Congress, can deliver all the RH services without passing the RH bill. This can be done through the Congress’s power of purse and the President’s ‘welfare power’ (e.g., conditional cash transfer program, DSWD, etc.)

These clueless, politically naive, nihilistic creatures should be thanking the president for trying to expedite the delivery of RH services to the people even without passing an RH legislation. They need to understand that the legislative power is vested in Congress, and the President doesn’t have yet any tyrannical, dictatorial power to unilaterally pass welfare laws and measures through the help of a somnambulistic  rubber stamp congress.

To the Filipino freefarters: Yes, the President is doing you a big, big favor only if you try to understand his ‘universal healthcare’ program, which can cover many RH services and almost anything that involves welfare.

Someone also posted the following photo on the FF group.

Some FF members made the following comments:

  • “a very moving picture that reflects the reality we are in.” Oh yeah! That’s the reality in this protectionist, regulative Philippines…
  • “Get parents to be responsible for their kids…” Can you legislate stupidity?
  • “and that is what RH bill is for.” Speaking like a true freefarter.
  • “for this case, at least. RH bill is absolutely necessary for other purposes.” What other purposes?

What a bunch of left-leaning MORONS! The parents of the ‘working boys’ don’t need the RH bill or any similar government ‘charity’. They need jobs. And jobs are created not by the government, but by more investment. You don’t build a strong, self-sustaining society by encouraging a PALAMUNIN/Parasitical culture. You cannot make parents responsible by making them more dependent on the state, which can only survive through taxation and help through redistribution of wealth.

Since poverty is an economic issue/problem, it can only be solved by sound, practical economic solutions. And the best and only solution to poverty is economic freedom. We need to open this already fucked up economy to foreign investors. Scrap the 60-40 protectionism and deregulate. Of course to do this, we need to revise our 1987 charter. But to make this ‘pipe dream’ a reality, we need to have lawmakers and politicians who have proper understanding of how the free market, pro-liberty politics, and sound economics work. This last, I believe, is almost an impossibility.

    Just plain asking:
Is not the universal health care program sits on the prerogative of the local official, let’s say the city mayor, to implement? Like how contraceptives are banned in government clinics in Manila City? Like there should be a law to fully enforce it? Again, just plain asking…

PNOY’s universal healthcare plan is being supported by PhilHealth. The PhilHealth program mandates compulsory coverage of all Filipinos and forces employers to enroll their employees under the program. Its coverage is NOT simply universal in terms of membership, but also in terms of scope. Currently it includes properly defined services, but what’s clear is the the PhilHealth Corp. may add new services to the program, which may include RH services. There’s no legal or restriction as to what more services our politicians would like to add to the PhilHealth program.
