Facebook Rants: On Socialists and Occupy Morons

October 18, 2011

I posted the following remarks on Facebook…

Observe the utter hypocrisy and ignorance of the leftists and/or statists (meaning: anyone who supports state regulation and welfare).

The leftists love to brag about their SELFLESS CONCERN for the poor. The result of their selflessness and ideology? The tragic deaths of unarmed millions in China, Soviet Russia, Germany (National Socialism), North Korea, etc. In reality, those who shamelessly advertise their poor-poor concerns unwittingly support DEATH, POVERTY and MISERY.

The leftist PETARDS (PETA) actively promote animal rights and welfare. The result of their selflessness and animal rights idiocy? They end up killing (or in their own words: “putting to sleep forever”) thousands of animals they rescued.

The National People’s Army (NPA) claim they’re for the poor and the oppressed people. The result of their evil ideology? Mass graves, immoral/illegal killing of people, and bombing of mines, private properties and businesses.

The leftist/statist intellectuals who supported the passage of the 1987 Constitution were motivated by nationalism, Filipino First ideology, and the premise that the abrogation and/or limitation of foreign equity would help their fellow Filipinos and improve the country’s economy. The result of their Filipino First idiocy? They ended up helping the country’s Oligarchs whom they hate. Poverty, higher unemployment rate, lower FDI, corruption, OFWs, etc.

So who really hates the poor?

My prediction is, this hate mob will backfire on its opportunistic democratic supporters like Obama, Pelosi and company. Remember the epic shutting up of socialist Democratic Cong. John Lewis at Occupy Atlanta protest. Lewis was speechless and so shocked, as he thought he could use these useful idiots for his own agenda. The Dems in power are dealing with a highly volatile, unpredictable, uncontrollable hate mob that will soon backfire on them…

I read this Business Mirror column by John Mangun and made the following comment: “Wow! That’s the first columnist of a Filipino newspaper who trashed this Occupy idiocy! The mainstream media (PDI, GMA7, ABS-CBN) are taking this Occupy shit very seriously. ABS-CBN’s Ces Drilon interviewed this statist foreigner yesterday (economist or just plain academic intellectual?) who praised Noynoy’s conditional cash transfer program and other welfare programs. The mainstream media are taking them seriously! Yes, this is all about welfare state.”

Columnist John Mangun wrote:

“The current protests around the world under the banner of “Occupy” shows that a large number of people have descended into the depths of psychosis. Psychosis is a loss of contact with reality, usually including false beliefs about what is taking place.”

I agree! The fact that these highly schooled mainstream media morons are taking this Occupy shit seriously tells me something. They lost contact with reality. They failed and/or refused to understand that the global economic crunch was caused by government regulations of corporations and businesses. They failed to understand that Obama was in bed with Wall Street. And Wall Street is as liberal as Hollywood. They failed to understand that there should not have been bailout program in the first place. And it’s really surprising to know that Slovakia’s parliament rejected the euro bailout. They failed to understand that the solution to everything is limited government. Yet they’re asking for more government intervention. They want the government to control, to tax, to punish the producers of wealth in order to provide jobs to all. That’s definitely a puerile fantasy. They want to finish capitalism off.

The Occupy mob reminds me that it’s very easy (for a scheming politician) to become a dictator. If Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos had to stage that notorious ambush of Enrile to declare Martial law, any scheming politician today only has to destroy the markets with political edicts (e.g., regulations, interventionist policies, etc.), and then blame freedom and free market when actual crisis occurs. After that, expect the socialist morons to ask for more government intervention. They will ask you to get more power to rule them and the markets.

You said: “They failed and/or refused to understand that the global economic crunch was caused by government regulations of corporations and businesses. I understand your concern. The ‘Occupy’ movement exists because people know there is something wrong with the world. I’m not from the US so I can’t tell you whether the localised statements you make are true or not but as I see it there must be at least a grain of truth in what you say. Now, the thing is, when you deal with a big group of people, motives tend to become garbled and/or confused/ing and as this movement has no real leaders it will become even more so. An idea needs a focus point and a focus outlet otherwise it just gets lost in all the noise. The fact remains that the problems we face are systemic and inherent to the system we espouse. These problems will not disappear if we tweak the system a bit. Limited government won’t solve these problems. In fact, you can remove the government entirely and these problems will still persist. Same goes if you give the government full rein and nationalise everything (although that would be much worse). What we as a species need to do is find a different system. A system without inflation and money=debt *qeue derisive snort*.
I know what most people would be thinking now, ” A world without money? That will never happen! This guy is on crack.”
The thing is: if we do not stop the way we are exploiting people, exploiting recources and in general screwing everyone over, there will come a point where millions of people will start rioting. There will be unrest on a scale that no one has ever seen before. I hate to be a buzzkill but this WILL happen. We need to come up with a solution to our problem and stop blaming everyone/thing around us. We need a global consensus on this.

You seem to be an intelligent person, you could be part of this solution. Without sounding like a televangelist, I would like to implore you to visit my blog and read what I posted yesterday. Leave a comment, say what you think. Don’t leave a comment, whatever. Just check it out.
    Cheers

It’s the governments that caused the recent global economic crisis. You can connect the dots if you understand how the role of interventionist laws and political policies like the Community Reinvestment Act, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the various changes made to the CRA during the Clinton administration, among other policies that forced banks to issue $1 trillion in sub-prime mortgages.

So it’s wrong to blame Wall Street which was and is in bed with the US government (from Clinton to Bush to Obama). In fact the Obama administration forced banks to obtain TARP money even if it’s against their will.

The Occupy morons and idiots are barking at the wrong tree. Yet these morons call for more regulations and intervention that caused previous economic troubles/crises.
