An Egyptian friend posted the photo above on her Facebook wall and wrote: "I can't imagine how I'd feel like if all these people were in the street to tell me they hate me and get out of our country, I do the honorable thing to take my own life if I were this guy!" -- "I WAS THERE!"

An Egyptian Objectivist friend (name withheld for security reason) reports unfolding political events in Egypt via her BlackBerry. She was virtually absent on Facebook for a few days after Egypt’s dictator Hosni Mubarak shut down the Internet and cell sites. The Mubarak regime is determined to suppress free flow of information from Egypt.

Here are some of her latest Facebook posts:

“If you want Mubarak, don’t ever complain again from al-Qaeda, I won’t have it on my wall, his regime planted the bomb in front of the church in Egypt on New Year’s Eve, we have the proof from British intelligence and his minister of interior is being persecuted for it, I will never allow complains from al-Qaeda and global jihad from those who support the a major source of global terror Mohammed Hosni Mubarak.”

“It’s driving me crazy! I’ve never seen anything more free or more secular in my life and the western international community is against it!”

“Saudi Arabia is panicking over losing control over its Egyptian colony. Now we are free this is OUR TEA PARTY! And talking about fight terror? THIS IS IT!”

“PLEASE HELP SAVE Karim Amer’s life by spreading news about his disappearance. His criticism of Islam that sent him to prison under Mubarak’s reign can make them ritually revenge from him. Please share the link I posted his disappearance.”

“Supporting Mubarak’s regime is supporting, terror breeding, terror funding, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, killing Christians, Islamism, socialism, Arab nationalism, and every evil criminal quality I can think of. It’s moral cowardliness, it’s prostitution.”

Cyn Farah on Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday: “I get tears in my eyes every time I hear him say, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” Is this normal???”

“Today Christian protesters are holding a mass in Tahrir square under protection of Muslim protesters from Mubarak’s militia. Rejecting Mubarak is rejecting Islamism, socialism, and the fake staged opposition of the Muslim Brethren. Was Mubarak a member of the Muslim Brethren militia?” –

She posted this photo on her wall with the caption: “Ben Ali, Susan and Mubarak, Qaddafi. This is what happens to you when you rule your country like a criminally insane serial murderer.”

“Mubarak has Coptic and Muslim blood on his hands, whoever says Mubarak’s regime is secular is ignorant.”

“British intelligence saying: Mubarak’s ministry of interior bombed the Coptic church on New Year’s Eve. This is EXACTLY what I said and no one believed me. MUBARAK IS A WAR CRIMINAL WHO HAS TO LEAVE PRESIDENCY NOW.

“Sandmonkey and my brother are now finally safe, they were attacked both by Mubarak’s militia and his police, my brother was badly beaten and they broke his teeth.”

“MUBARAK’S MILITIA IS ATTEMPTING TO BURN DOWN THE EGYPTIAN MUSEUM AND THE EGYPTIAN ARMY IS WATCHING WITHOUT DOING A DAMN THING ABOUT IT.”

“Mubarak is spreading his militia dressed in civilian clothes to attack and kill protestors in Tahrir square.”

“I saw the tolerant, patriotic, civilized, free, diverse, united, rational, and extraordinarily peaceful side of Egypt for the first time in my life in this revolution.” — Feb. 2, 2011

She wrote about the screen-shot below: “I got this message when I got the internet back.”

I replied to her post today with the following: “I love this post, XXXX… http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/02/08/leading-egyptian-businessman-fears-muslim-brotherhood/#content . THERE’S HOPE! Keep the fire alive. Don’t let it go… From Philippines!”

Her reply: “Thank you, Froilan! I somehow knew you’d be on our side! Sawirs [Egyptian billionaire who supports the revolution] knows EXACTLY what’s going on, he knows that it is people like me are the ones who are leading the revolution aganinst the regime and their allies “Muslim Brethren”, but he just has to say that because he has billions under the control of the Egyptian regime! I know for a fact that he knows the truth.”

My answer: GOOD PREMISES, EGYPT. Bring back the spirit of the long lost Library of Alexandria.

Her reply: “That’s what we’re doing, Froilan. Anything else will have to be over our dead bodies.”

If you want your Egyptian friend to remain anonymous, you may want to remove the name of CF (you wrote it out in full in her FB quote) from this posting. It is now findable allover Google this way.
