Filipino Statist Tet Gallardo’s Last Hurrah: An Epic Fail!

December 27, 2010

Here’s socialist RH bill proponent Tet Gallardo‘s epic fail finale:

People need to govern themselves before they can get rid of government. But with the propensity of the powerful to bully the weak, natural resources will always be cornered by the strong and they will be allowed to use these resources to dominate the weak. There is no way equal opportunities can be achieved on its own without government intervention, esp. if we take into account humans’ motivation to securely fasten themselves to a stable future, possibly at the expense of other equally important human beings by perpetuating themselves in power. I hope you believe that human beings need protection from greed, bullying, and exploitation. That protection cannot just appear by itself, someone has to provide them. Capitalism won’t give equal access to opportunities to the weak without government programs.

IF YOU STILL BELIEVE human activities are properly monetized, then you probably think the monetary system works. It doesn’t. Case in point is that developers of FACEBOOK, LINUX, OPENOFFICE are compensated but the activities of users who make these programs useful — such as the content and velocity of interaction, are not really compensated. Enjoying a family life, nurturing family time for instance are not given salaries. Yet, these are activities that fulfill a good society rather than the institutionalization of power hoarding. I’m saying that freedom of interaction will create a socialist haven where people will foment their own social identities without doctrines or ideologies to coerce them.

NOT ALL SOCIALISTS ARE MARXISTS by the way. PLEASE LOOK UP ANTHONY GIDDENS and STructuration Theory, so that you could finally outgrow the false dichotomies of the Cold War. MARX was wrong on most levels. And hopefully you can shed your talk-down rhetoric which you have made so loud to deafen your erroneous analysis.

Since her epic fail finale is full of contradictions, undigested slogans and statist rhetoric and assumptions, I had to make a point-by-point reply.

Here’s what I said:

Another highly stupid rhetoric: “IF YOU STILL BELIEVE human activities are properly monetized, then you probably think the monetary system works. I’m saying that freedom of interaction will create a socialist haven where people will foment their own social identities without doctrines or ideologies to coerce them.”

So what do you propose to do? Regulate them? Steal their wealth and give it to the poor to make the latter happy just for one day? If these developers stopped from whatever they do due to your government intervention, do you think that would benefit you? Are you trying to say that it is the duty of the government to make every individual enjoy family life? Is it not socialism you’re prattling about, idiot? There can be no freedom of interaction under a socialist state. Such an idiotic claim only exists in your mind. Name at least one socialist state wherein people enjoyed or enjoy freedom of interaction! There can be no freedom of interaction without freedom of expression and property rights. There can be no freedom of interaction under a state of government censorship and control. There can be no freedom of interaction under a state of fear and compulsion. What kind of drugs are you on, Tet? What is that brand of socialism are you talking about where freedom of interaction is guaranteed by the state or by “someone” to “forment” people’s “social identities without doctrines or ideologies? Does that brand of socialism exist on earth or only in your mind? For your information, socialism is an ideology, stupid!

Tet’s stupidest remark: “NOT ALL SOCIALISTS ARE MARXISTS by the way. PLEASE LOOK UP ANTHONY GIDDENS and STructuration Theory, so that you could finally outgrow the false dichotomies of the Cold War. MARX was wrong on most levels. And hopefully you can shed your talk-down rhetoric which you have made so loud to deafen your erroneous analysis.”

No one is saying that not all socialists are Marxists. For your information, a brand of property rights-less socialism or collectivism was implemented and practiced in the United States more than 100 years before Karl Marx published Das Kapital. In 1920, the Pilgrims, a name commonly applied to early settlers of the Plymouth colony (now Plymouth, Massachusetts), established a social system of communal property under which every community member was obliged to contribute to the common good or the greater good, following the “from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs” precept. In today’s terms, what the Pilgrims established was the system of communism, with all property and the fruits of all labor contributed to a common pool to be divided equally among the community members. The Pilgrims called this social experiment a “commonwealth”, because all goods and wealth was held in common, and they had no concept of private property. However, within three years the Pilgrims had abolished the system, instituting private property instead. This is because the results were disastrous, as the colony suffered serious losses by 1963.

Also, the Spartans lived under a socialist or collectivist state wherein all lands and property were owned collectively by society more than 1000 years before the birth of Marx and Friedrich Engels. Communism and socialism are just two terms concocted by an aristocratic mystic named Karl Marx who never worked a single day in his life. Words and terms have shades and meanings, but it’s the reality-based concept that matters. When a government steals or extorts the wealth of the rich and the successful and give it to the weak, the unsuccessful, the lazy, the incompetent, in layman’s term such an immoral act is called theft. Others who are kind enough call it “redistribution of wealth.” The kindest of all call it “socialism”, “welfare state”, or statism”. However, the leftists or statists who support such a monstrous act call it “social justice”, “equal opportunity”, “corrective measure”, or “act of selflessness”. Well, this simply confirms your idiocy, Tet. Marx was wrong on ALL levels; you, Tet, are also wrong on ALL levels. But you’re nothing compared to Marx. The only good thing about Marx is that he had a clear understanding of a “few” concepts. You don’t. And, despite Marx’s utter dislike of capitalism, he nevertheless recognized its wealth-creating potential. Despite disparaging capitalism, both Marx and his co-author Friedrich Engels admired capitalism for its productiveness. They wrote that the bourgeoisie“has accomplished wonders far surpassing the Egyptian pyramids, Roman aqueducts, the Gothic cathedrals… [D]uring its rule of scarcely one hundred years, it has created more massive and more colossal productive forces than have all preceding generations together.”

Yes, let me say it, Tet. You are an IGNORAMUS…

What an epic fail, indeed! Tet Gallardo needs to undergo reeducation process. But I think it’s too late with the small brain she’s got lol! The worst thing about her is that she firmly believes she knows what she’s talking about. Lunatic!
