How to Brainwash A Nation: A Politically Incorrect Guide To Dictatorship
Why is it that most schooled people who live in free societies love and admire the evil idea of communism or socialism? Why is it that most
intellectuals and college professors, who deserve to be called that collective name “useful idiots”, sympathize with the Left and have mastered the ‘art of appeasement’? The only possible answer to these questions is– they are the logical result of the gradual, systematic, painstaking, long-ranged, long process of ideological subversion and indoctrination- or brainwashing- by those who clearly understood the power of ideas, particularly of evil ideologies.
This is the reason why anti-Americanism and anti-capitalist sentiments are prevalent in almost all parts of the world today. We have heard a great deal about that collectivist canard that the United States is an imperialist superpower with the evil intention to rule the world- or in the words of the radical Islamists, the USA is the “Great Satan” that is out to destroy the Islamic religion and its culture. Reality is the very enemy of the collectivists who promote their evil ideologies and philosophies, and the main goal of their propaganda or indoctrination is to distort reality and ultimately to destroy man’s mind.
Consider the following videos below that show G. Edward Griffin’s brilliant, eye-opening conversation with Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov, a former agent or propagandist of Soviet Russia’s KGB. G. Edward Griffin is an American film producer, author, and political lecturer. He authored the bestselling book The Creature from Jekyll Island, a thought-provoking non-fiction book that details the history of the Federal Reserve. Mr. Bezmenov, now known as Tomas David Schuman (born 1939, Soviet Union – 1997), worked as a journalist for Novosti Press Agency. In this capacity, he secretly answered to the KGB. His true job was to further the aims of communist Russia. After being assigned to a station in India, Bezmenov eventually grew to love the people and culture of India, while, at the same time, he started to resent the KGB-sanctioned oppression of intellectuals critical of Moscow’s policies. Finally he decided to defect to the West. Bezmenov/Schuman is best remembered for his Pro-American, anti-communist lectures and books from the 1980s.
In his conversation with Mr. Griffin, Bezmenov identified the propaganda scheme applied by the Soviet Union. He called this scheme “ideological subversion,” a “legitimate, overt and open process” designed to distort reality and brainwash people’s mind. He said that the Soviet regime did not mainly focus on espionage, as much of the dictatorship’s resources, money and man-power was devoted to “a slow process or ideological subversion, active measures or psychological warfare.”
This is what Mr. Bezmenov said:
“What they basically mean is to change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite the abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their family, their community and their country. It’s a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and has divided into four basic stages. The first one being demoralization, which takes 15 to 20 years. Why that many number of years? Because this is the minimum number of years which requires to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy. Expose to the ideology of your enemy. In other words Marxism/Leninism ideology being punted into the soft heads of at least three generations, without being challenged or contra-balanced by the basic values of Americanism.”
Bezmenov revealed that the “demoralization process in the United States has completed already.” Perhaps this explains why President Barack Obama was elected President of the most powerful nation in the world and that his liberal Democratic Party is benefiting from the dominant culture that is delivering the United States to socialism or dictatorship. However, this doesn’t mean that if America becomes a collectivist nation, it would embrace socialism, a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. If America embraced collectivism, the political system would be fascism, an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government that retains ownership of private property to privileged members of society or to cronies.
Now according to Bezmenovthe four basic principles of ideological subversion or active measures are the following:
I stated the following in my previous blog:
“Despite clear evidence and proof that socialism or communism failed in almost all slave pens on earth, the Leftists claim that the system is perfect but not the murderous dictators. They try to evade the fact that it is the system, which demands everybody’s enslavement and the use of brute force, that corrupts men. A system that abolishes individual rights and makes men the means to the ends of others and the state would only lead to the rise of a dictator. The Leftists were also heavily hypnotized by Karl Marx’s evil lie that communism is different from socialism. The only difference between these two great lies is the number of deaths and the degree of man’s enslavement.
“We are now in an age of mediocrity ruled by the country’s intellectual mystics and collectivists. Unless the collectivist trend is reversed, the coming of a dictatorship of the left (communists) or the so-called right (fascism) is just a matter of time. The socialist members in Congress, who found a way to pursue their collectivist goal under the party-list system, are now advancing, as they take advantage of our mediocre Constitution that compromised our liberty and freedom to temporary unity and security. This creepy collectivist trend also takes a fillip from schools, religious institutions and the intellectuals that are preaching the value of altruism, self-sacrifice and the evil of self-interest. Unknown to them, the common denominator between communism, religion and our dominant mediocre culture is altruism. Every dictator, according to Ayn Rand, is a mystic, and every mystic is a potential dictator. “A mystic craves obedience from men, not their agreement. He wants them to surrender their consciousness to his assertions, his edicts, his wishes, his whims—as his consciousness is surrendered to theirs. He wants to deal with men by means of faith and force—he finds no satisfaction in their consent if he must earn it by means of facts and reason. Reason is the enemy he dreads and, simultaneously, considers precarious; reason, to him, is a means of deception; he feels that men possess some power more potent than reason—and only their causeless belief or their forced obedience can give him a sense of security, a proof that he has gained control of the mystic endowment he lacked.”
I urge you to watch the following videos. I also encourage you to check some of the sickening comments on this video trying to discredit Bezmenov. Yes, this guy is a defector, a traitor to his country of birth, but this doesn’t mean he’s no longer credible. Between a defector who risked his life and an evil regime like the defunct USSR, only a plain idiot would believe the second. I firmly believed that Mr. Bezmenov is an intellectually honest person.
